The Conference Center and Inn at Clemson University, which is made up of The Clyde V. Madren Conference Center, the James F. Martin Inn, and the award winning Walker Golf Course is a beautiful venue and we are proud to be returning to Clemson for The Conference on the Value of Play. Space at the Martin Inn is limited, so register as soon as possible. The Martin Inn is attached to the Conference Center, so no in-town transportation will be required to go to The Conference on the Value of Play from your room.

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference attendees for only $99 per night, including continental breakfast. Please mention Code GF-9661 or The Conference on the Value of Play to receive special rates. Deadline for hotel registration is December 31, 2012.

  • Playground Maintenance Training in Tukwila, Washington - October 21 to October 22 - The Playground Maintenance Certificate of Completion Program is an affordable, entry-level program to provide the knowledge required to perform regular inspections of play spaces. The two-day multimedia training program delivers practical information through print resources, presentations, and hands-on training. At the conclusion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion which serves as evidence of their newly acquired skill and knowledge. Email pmt@clemson.edu for details.
